We hope that we have made using this site easy. Simply select the item you require and add to your shopping basket using the 'add to basket' link. Once you have all the items you require you are ready to go to 'Checkout'. Here you will be given a summary of your complete order and asked to select your delivery method. Please select the correct postal service to avoid a delay in order processing. You will then be asked to submit your personal details, such as name and the address you would like the order to be sent to. After completion you will be required to submit your chosen method of payment. When ordering is complete you will be sent an e-mail of confirmation of your order from us, so please be sure to enter your correct contact information.
 
 
 
We accept most major credit card and debit cards and PayPal. 
 
Unfortunately we no longer accept personal cheques or postal orders as payment.
 
Please note that we can only accept payment in GB pounds sterling (£).
 
 
 
Unfortunately we cannot process orders or take payments over the telephone.

PayPal uses secure socket layer (SSL) technology and you can check that you are entering your card details on a secure page by checking the web address begins'https://..." or by the closed padlock symbol.
 
No credit or debit card details are viewed by this site.

We aim to process all orders within 1 working day (this does not include weekends and UK Bank Holidays).
 
Usually everything on our website is in stock and ready for dispatch with the exception of Special Order items which will be highlighted upon adding them to basket. In the unlikely event that an item purhased is unavailable we will contact you immediately.
 
Delivery Charges
 
Delivery within the UK is charged at £3.99 for orders under £50 and we offer Free Standard Delivery for orders of £50 and over. For orders placed outside the UK but within the Europe delivery is £10.99 per order. And outside Europe delivery is £15.99 per order.
 
We also offer UK Special Delivery for customers who require their orders urgently. This is £7.99 for orders under £50.00, £4.00 for orders over £50.00 and up to £150.00 and Free for orders over £150.00. This service is available to UK customers only. 

 
We will e-mail you as soon as your order is despatched so that you can anticipate its arrival.
 
We send all UK items Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery (with the exception of very low value orders which will be sent standard 1st class). This means we can track your parcel and it will require a signature upon delivery. Orders usually arrive the following working day after despatch but please allow up to 7 working days.
 
For orders being sent to addresses outside of the UK please allow up to 10 working days from the date of despatch.
 
We regret we cannot provide exact delivery dates as, in order to keep delivery costs down, we use Royal Mail who only provide us with estimated delivery times.
 
We do not offer an express delivery service, so please ensure that you allow enough time for your order to reach you – at least 5 working days (UK) and 10 working days (EU).
 
U.K. customers please note:
 
All orders will be sent by recorded post and someone will need to sign for the parcel as proof of receipt. If no-one’s in, you’ll receive a card letting you know where you can collect your items (normally the local sorting office or depot). There will also be a phone number you can call to re-arrange delivery.
 
If you do not collect or arrange re-delivery within a week, then the package will be returned to us. If you then require the package to be re-posted you will be charged postage at £3.99. (Please note it can take up to 28 days for the package to be returned to us).

If you wish to cancel an order placed with Christenings and Occasions please e-mail us with your intention to cancel within 7 days and include your order reference number.
 
If your order has not been processed we will cancel your order immediately, issue a full refund and send e-mail confirmation. As orders are dispatched quickly it is more than likely that your order will already be on it's way to you and we would then ask you to follow our returns procedure.
 
 
 
If for any reason you wish to return  any of your unworn/unused items please use the form on our 'contact us' page within 7 days of receipt . Your returns should then be sent, along with your name, order number and details of whether you have arranged a refund or exchange to the address given on your invoice (this can also be found on our terms and conditions page). We allow a further 7 days for you to post the items to us, giving you a total of 14 days from the date of receipt to return all or part of your order.
 
Please note items must be returned in their original condition and will be inspected upon return. We advise orders are sent back via a guaranteed delivery service, and your local Post Office will advise on the level of insurance you require or provide a ‘proof of posting certificate’ as we cannot be held liable for any goods lost in transit to us. The items are your responsibility until they reach us. Return postage costs are at the customers own expense.
 
Once your goods are accepted back you will be issued with an exchange (if requested and available) or refund. We can only refund by the original means of payment.
 
We'll refund standard delivery charge (£3.99)* on whole orders where you notify us, in writing (e-mail form), within 7 days of receipt of your intention to cancel. If notification is received later than 7 days after receipt, then we'll refund the delivery charge only if the goods are damaged, faulty or incorrect. Where only part of an order is returned postage charges will not be refunded.
 
Notification of damaged, faulty or incorrect orders must be made as soon as possible after receipt and within 48 hours.
 
*Please note that customers who had selected Special Delivery or International signed for delivery, only our standard delivery charge (£3.99) only will be refunded on whole orders returned in these circumstances.

We always try to ensure our items are in perfect condition when they leave us. If on the rare occasion you find your item is damaged or faulty please contact us as soon as possible after delivery and within 48 hours of receipt. We will ask you to return your item to us and  arrange for an exchange or refund. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
 
 
 
Please allow enough time for your order to arrive. We will e-mail as soon as we have dispatched your order and would ask customers to e-mail us if they have not received their orders after the following number of days:
 
U.K. residents: 7 working days
 
Customers iouside of the UK: 14 working days
 
For customers residing in the U.K. please note that your order will require  a signature upon receipt. If there is no-one to sign for delivery the parcel will be taken to your local sorting office for collection.
