We hope that we have made using this site easy. Simply select the item you require and add to your shopping basket using the 'add to basket' link. Once you have all the items you require you are ready to go to 'Checkout'. Here you will be given a summary of your complete order and asked to select your delivery method. Please select the correct postal service to avoid a delay in order processing. You will then be asked to submit your personal details, such as name and the address you would like the order to be sent to. After completion you will be required to submit your chosen method of payment. When ordering is complete you will be sent an e-mail of confirmation of your order from us, so please be sure to enter your correct contact information.
We accept most major credit card and debit cards and PayPal. 
Unfortunately we no longer accept personal cheques or postal orders as payment.
Please note that we can only accept payment in GB pounds sterling (£).
Unfortunately we cannot process orders or take payments over the telephone.
Yes. Please be assured that we use PayPal a well known and trusted payment processor.
PayPal uses secure socket layer (SSL) technology and you can check that you are entering your card details on a secure page by checking the web address begins'https://..." or by the closed padlock symbol.
No credit or debit card details are viewed by this site.

We aim to process all orders within 1 working day (this does not include weekends and UK Bank Holidays).
Usually everything on our website is in stock and ready for dispatch with the exception of Made to Order items which will be highlighted upon adding them to basket. In the unlikely event that an item purhased is unavailable we will contact you immediately.
Delivery Charges
Standard Delivery within the UK is Free. Orders are sent using Royal Mail's 2nd class/2nd class recorded delivery and take 3-7 working days to arrive. Delivery dates are not guaranteed with this service.
For orders to the Republic of Ireland delivery is £8.99 per order. Orders are sent by Royal Mail's Intenational signed for service and take 7-10 working days to arrive.
We also offer UK Express Delivery for customers who require their orders more urgently. The charge for this service is £4.99 per order and orders are sent by Royal Mail's Tracked24/Special Delivery. Express Delivery is fully tracked. 
We will e-mail you as soon as your order is despatched so that you can anticipate its arrival.
Orders that are sent recorded (over £20 in value) will require a signature on arrival. If no-one’s in, you’ll receive a card letting you know where you can collect your items (normally the local sorting office or depot). There will also be a phone number/website url giving details on how to re-arrange delivery.
If you do not collect or arrange re-delivery within a week, then the package will be returned to us. If you then require the package to be re-posted you will be charged postage at the usual rate. (Please note it can take up to 28 days for the package to be returned to us).

If you wish to cancel an order placed with Christenings and Occasions please e-mail us or complete our online form here including your order number.
If your order has not been processed we will cancel your order immediately, issue a full refund and send e-mail confirmation. As orders are dispatched quickly it is more than likely that your order will already be on its way to you and we would then ask you to follow our returns procedure.
If for any reason you wish to return any of your unworn/unused items please do so within 21 days.
Your returns should be sent, along with your name, order number to the returns address given on your invoice (this can also be found on our terms and conditions page).
Please note items must be returned in their original condition and will be inspected upon return. We advise orders are sent back via a guaranteed delivery service, and your local Post Office will advise on the level of insurance you require or provide a ‘proof of posting certificate’ as we cannot be held liable for any goods lost in transit to us. The items are your responsibility until they reach us. Return postage costs are at the customers own expense.
Once your goods are accepted back you will be issued with an exchange (UK customers, if requested and available) or refund. We can only refund by the original means of payment.
We'll refund the standard delivery charge on whole orders retuned for refund. Where only part of an order is returned postage charges will not be refunded.
Notification of damaged, faulty or incorrect orders must be made as soon as possible after receipt and within 48 hours.
*Please note that customers who had selected Special Delivery or International signed for delivery, only our standard delivery charge will be refunded on whole orders returned in these circumstances.

We always try to ensure our items are in perfect condition when they leave us. If on the rare occasion you find your item is damaged or faulty please contact us as soon as possible after delivery and within 48 hours of receipt. You can advise us of any faults using the online contact form here. We will ask you to return your item to us and arrange for an exchange or refund. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
Please allow enough time for your order to arrive. We will e-mail as soon as we have dispatched your order and would ask customers to e-mail us if they have not received their orders after the following number of days:
U.K. residents: 7 working days
Republic of Ireland residents: 14 working days
Please note that your order will require  a signature upon receipt. If there is no-one to sign for delivery the parcel will be taken to your local sorting office for collection.
